Chiropractic services are covered by most private health funds, however the amount you receive depends on your individual health fund and your level of cover. You can call your health fund to find out your level of cover.

If you have been referred by your GP with an Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC), you can claim a portion of your fee from Medicare. Your GP will be able to give you more information about EPC’s.

We accept Department of Veterans Affairs Patients, Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident claims and converse directly with your other health practitioners on your behalf.

Accounts are not held and payment is required on the day of consultation. We have HICAPS and eftpos facilities available that allow for immediate rebates.

While we see many people who have been referred to us by their GP or specialist, a referral is not necessary for an appointment.

NEW PATIENTS – Please allow approximately 45 minutes for your Initial Consultation appointment.

New patients will be asked to complete a detailed form regarding their medical history. During the consultation with your practitioner, it is vital to discuss your medical history in detail, followed by a comprehensive examination. This allows us to make the most accurate diagnosis, ensuring you receive the very best information and treatment.

The initial consultation will usually take between 30-45 minutes depending on the complexity of your case. Rest assured, if we don’t think we can help you, or if any concerns arise we will refer you to the most appropriate professional and liaise with your GP with your consent.

During all appointments, your privacy and comfort are our priority at all times. Gowns are provided when required to ensure modesty is preserved.

We work very closely with local imaging centres. Should you need imaging, plain film x-rays are generally bulk billed to Medicare, MRI’s however do incur a fee. The local MRI imaging centres keep their fee at a very low rate and provide us with excellent diagnostic images and a prompt and professional service.

Your safety is always our first concern, beginning with an accurate diagnosis at your first visit, followed by appropriate treatment, and referrals to other health professionals if your condition requires another approach.

Spinal manipulation has proven itself to be remarkably safe when used appropriately.

Subsequent visits – Vary between $63-$73 depending on nature and length of treatment.

If you come to us in pain, we understand you want to start treatment as soon as possible, however we must first determine if it is safe to do so. Sometimes further tests are required to make an accurate diagnosis, so we can address the real cause of your pain. This may be an X-Ray, MRI or referral to your GP for other tests. Our Chiropractors will do everything they can to relieve your pain as quickly as possible.
